Tercius Belfort Noëlsaint has a Master Degree in Education (System of Instruction and Technology of Education), from the University of the Sacred Heart (San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1999), and a Bachelor Degree, major in Accounting from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico, (Ponce, Puerto Rico, 1992). He made his High School from the Nouveau College Moderne (Gros-Morne, Haiti), and the Juvénat College of the Sacred Heart (Carrefour, Port-au-Prince, Haiti, 1983).
He has been a Visiting Creole Instructor at Florida International University (FIU, Miami, Florida, 2007-2009); a Part-time French and Creole Instructor at the University of Puerto Rico, (San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1998-2007); a French Instructor (Alliance Française, Ponce, Puerto Rico, 1989-1991); an employee at the Consulate General of Haiti in Puerto Rico (1996-2003); and Instructor at several high schools in Haiti, including the elementary school of the Haitian religious community (St. Therese of the Child Jesus, Hinche and Port-au-Prince), the Nouveau College Moderne and John XXIII College (Gros-Morne, Haiti).
He participated in several NGO in Haiti and Puerto Rico: Fund for Development and Change, (FONDEMENT, INC., San Juan, Puerto Rico); the Holy Family Group: Jesus, Mary, and Joseph (Haiti and Florida); Musician of several choirs (Puerto Rico and Florida); Ex Resident Agent and Treasurer of the Federal Small Business Organization (Service Corps of Retired Executives, SCORE, Chapter 200, San Juan, Puerto Rico); Ex Member and Treasurer of the the “Fundación Cívica Haitiano- Caribeña” in Puerto Rico; the “Comité de Solidaridad con el Pueblo de Haití” in Puerto Rico; and the “Movimiento de Solidaridad Humana, Inc.,” in Puerto Rico.
He is on call Miami-Dade Elections Department Poll Worker. He supervised several groups of Haitian Teachers and participated in a series of Summer Training programs realized by FONDEMENT, INC., at the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and the University of Puerto Rico (Ponce & San Juan, Puerto Rico, 1989-1996).
He is the Author of several books such as: Haití: Mito y Realidad (1995); several multilingual grammars and dictionaries (Creole-English-Spanish-French, 2015) and CDs; Religious Bilingual Agenda and Information (Dec. 2011), and the Liturgical Sunday Readings and Calendar (2017).
He speaks, reads, writes, and translates: The Haitian Creole, and French (native languages), Spanish, and English. He is Computer literate (Ms Office and Social Media Producer). He is a member of Puerto Rican Department of State Language Translator. Used to translate documents and books from/to any of the above languages.
